Project Education
Project Education was developed by a group of volunteers from Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The initiative allows donors to sponsor students, teachers and classroom supplies at the Center. The three types
of sponsorships available are:
- Sponsor a Child or Adult for One Class at the Center: $75
- Sponsor One Year’s Salary for a Teacher at the Center: $1,200
- Sponsor Classroom Supplies for a Class at the Center: $185
Project Education also allows these donors to sponsor scholarships, administered through the Center, for grade school,
high school, or university students for one year. The sponsorship levels for these External Scholarships are:
- One Year Scholarship for Grade School: $125
- One Year Scholarship for High School: $250
- One Year Scholarship for College Student: $500
All Sponsors receive a profile of the student/teacher that they sponsor, including a picture and brief explanation of the need/use of their scholarship by their sponsored student and ability for further correspondence if desired.
All sponsorship dollars go directly to helping students and teachers at the Center. All expenses of Project Education are absorbed by Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and private donations. *Donations received from November 1 to January 31 will be assigned to an individual student. Donations received at other times throughout the year will be used for classroom supplies. The sponsorship levels above represent average costs. Actual costs of tuition and class supplies vary by class. Your sponsorship will cover this average cost.
