What Your Contribution Will Do:
  • $75 = a student’s tuition for one course at the Center.
  • $125 = a grade school scholarship (includes fees, tuition, uniforms, and basic school supplies) for local resident.
  • $185 = much-needed supplies for one classroom at the Center, such as textbooks, fabrics, or cooking utensils.
  • $250 = a high school scholarship (includes fees, tuition, uniforms, and basic school supplies) for local resident.
  • $500 = a college student scholarship (includes fees, tuition, uniforms, and basic school supplies)for local resident.
  • $1,200 = a teacher’s annual salary at the Center.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. The U. S. Internal Revenue Service has classified the Friends of Batahola as a 501(C)(3) public charity. All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a thank you letter.

How will I know if my credit card was accepted?

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provide. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact us at support@batahola.org, so that we can assist you.

Is my privacy protected when I contribute online?

Yes. Contributions are made through a secure web server. The information provided will not be sold to third parties.

What if I accidentally enter the wrong credit card number?

If you accidentally enter the wrong number for your credit card, the system requires you to wait a few minutes before attempting to process the card again.

Is there a service charge to contribute online?

Like all credit card transactions, Friends of Batahola will be charged a percentage of your contribution as a fee by the online payment service. Therefore, for larger donations, please consider mailing a check.
